Year 6 have enjoyed their learning in so far this year. Here are some of the highlights:
The children in 6P have written some excellent emotive, mature and reflective blackout poetry, based on their learning about refugees inspired by Brian Bilston's ‘Refugees’ poem and Benjamin Zephaniah's ‘Refugee Boy’.
6L have been trying to create a new shape for the game Tetris using their expert knowledge of rectilinear shapes, area and perimeter.
6C have thoroughly enjoyed creating their 'biomes in a bottle' and have produced some fantastic writing in Geography:
