At Rykneld, personal development is at the heart of what we do, ensuring that we provide access to a wide range of opportunities within and beyond the classroom. By developing children’s self-belief, well-being and resilience, we ensure they are well-prepared for the next stage in their lives.

We aim to widen the range of opportunities available to our children so that they can learn more about themselves and the world around them.

Anti-Bullying and Wellbeing

We are very proud of our ongoing efforts to eradicate all forms of bullying from our school and to have this recognised in our most recent Ofsted inspection report was fabulous.

"Bullying is uncommon, but pupils know what it is and what to do if they see or experience it. They are confident that they would get help from adults if they ever needed it." - Ofsted March 2022

The school places great emphasis on electing proactive Anti-Bullying Ambassadors who regularly promote anti-bullying messages through assemblies, national event days and within our curriculum.

In addition to the recognition from Ofsted, we are thrilled to have been awarded the Community Action Badge from the Diana Trust who have recognised the hard work and efforts that we all play at our school to remove all forms of bullying and promote wellbeing.
