Welcome to our Year 3 page!

Year 3 have had an incredibly busy start to the Summer term and have really taken the opportunity to develop their skills across the whole curriculum. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to learn how to play the violin. 

We have also been learning all about the Stone Age in History. We have researched information about Stone Age Art before creating our own Horrible Histories inspired non-chronological reports. We are so proud of the quality of their work. Here are some examples from 3B:

All the children also got the opportunity to attend a live video workshop with the illustrator of the Horrible Histories books, Martin Brown who gave them tips about how to draw before showing them how he created the illustrations from his first book 'Terrible Tudors'. They had a fantastic time and used this to help them illustrate their work.
