Safeguarding
The safety and security of our pupils is paramount and the staff work hard to provide a healthy and secure learning environment for all pupils and staff. We work very closely with all external agencies to ensure that our children receive the care and support they need and we are proactive in reducing risks for our students, supporting them to live, learn and grow. We are all role models for our children and we take the responsibility of this very seriously. We will not tolerate any behaviour from children or adults that is not in keeping with our school ethos and values and we all know that we all need to play our part. The safeguarding of our children is everybody's responsibility. If you see something that concerns you, then please speak to a member of staff in school or contact the school office on 01283 247475.
At Rykneld, we recognise that safeguarding against radicalisation is no different from safeguarding against any other vulnerability. At Rykneld Primary, all staff and visitors are expected to uphold and promote our core British Values. All staff receive Prevent training and a risk assessment is in place for this.
