In our school the pupils are involved in making important decisions about many different aspects of school life.

School Council meet every half term to discuss charities we are going to support, ways to spend allocated money to improve the school and share all pupils' ideas.

Buddies at Rykneld are caring and thoughtful individuals who make sure that all pupils are happy during break times. They organise games and check that pupils are involved in different activities.

ECO Warriors meet regularly and are involved in recycling projects across the school. They work hard to ensure our school grounds remain clean and tidy and  make a real difference to our environment.

Reading Ambassadors love talking about books and are always happy to recommend books to other children in their class.

School librarians enjoy running our library at lunchtimes and help to keep it tidy.

Digital Leaders support the use of technology to enhance learning across the curriculum. They are trained to use a variety of apps and to support pupils and staff in making the most of the school learning platform.

Our Online Safety Committee meet every half term to discuss online safety issues and help to make sure our lessons keep children well informed about these matters.
